Therapy

Creating a safe and supportive therapeutic space that nurtures personal exploration and self-expression is important to me. I offer a gentle, non-judgmental, and relaxed approach to therapy that is focused on your individual needs, helping you to find ways that support you both inside and outside of our therapy sessions. Together, we will work to emphasize the wisdom and resilience that is already within you and discover ways of using these personal strengths to help you reach your goals.

My art therapy training informs my psychotherapy practice by providing me with tools to help you find creative ways of approaching personal exploration, self-compassion, and acceptance. I am also passionate about the role that laughter and play have on building warm, meaningful, and reparative connections, no matter what your age or walk of life may be.

I have experience working with individuals facing issues with stress and anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts, emotional regulation, self-esteem, self-harm, trauma, mood disorders, and grief and loss. I work from an attachment-focused, psychodynamic perspective that is client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed. I also incorporate elements of humanistic, narrative, emotionally-focused, and solution-focused therapies in my practice.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a Registered Art Therapist with the Canadian Art Therapy Association. I hold an MA in Creative Arts Therapies, Art Therapy specialization from Concordia University, in Montreal, QC.
